In fact, I am glad it is aabbatum in English- that would not only be un-medieval but also repetitive I already heard Ozzy sing it in English. This recording is a one off and goes to illustrate just what super songs they were simply and effective.

Another cool feature is the reprinting of all the lyrics…in Latin. Funambulus domesticus A National Acrobat — Fiddles, frame drum, and female vocals are what this song are made up.
What makes Black Sabbath Black Sabbath is punishing riffs, pounding drums, sludgy bass and Ozzy howling. What is most amusing is that there are no translations for the Latin texts, which makes the songs sabvatum as unintelligible as they were in Manchester English, unless you are an old Catholic altar boy who remembers all his responses.

I can almost feel the reverberations bouncing off of cold stone walls, high ceilings, and into the ears of gargoyles and angels. We have never failed to deliver Dismiss. Very well done track you will not forget. There is a medieval vibe to many of Sabbath 's tunes, but it all comes down to rock and metal. This music is mostly vocals and a few organs and such, but mostly very different vocals.

Medieval Tribute to Black Sabbath" turns out to be a one-joke marathon, proving only that when Ozzy Osbourne tunes are reduced to bare essentials, even when beautifully sung and played as they are here, the monotonous melodies and unimaginative rhythms are still boring.
